Arnau Valls Esteve, holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree (B.Sc., M.Sc.) in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC-BarcelonaTECH). He is a former fellow of the Healthcare Innovation and Entrepreneurship d·Health Barcelona Program from BioCat (program affiliated to the Biodesign program of Stanford University), has a postgraduate degree in Quality in Big Data in Life Sciences and Healthcare by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and has completed various programs in health innovation management. He is Coordinator of the 3D4H Unit (the 3D planning Unit) in SJD Barcelona Children’s Hospital and Co-Director of the Postgraduate Expert3D program. He is a lecturer in the Postgraduate degree d·Health Barcelona for Biodesign Healthcare Innovation and has taught in a number of different engineering bachelor’s thesis at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and the Degree in Engineering in Industrial Design at ELISAVA - Design and Engineering School of Barcelona.
He is Innovation Lead and R&D Engineer at SJD Barcelona Children’s Hospital since 2014 and Strategic Lead for the Pediatric innovation HUB led by SJD Barcelona Children’s Hospital since 2020.
