VP of Strategy, Quality & Family Partnership and Chief Innovation Officer - Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario
Mari Teitelbaum is the Vice President of Strategy, Quality & Family Partnership and Chief Innovation Officer at CHEO. Her unique background and her vision for applying innovation to improve health care systems make her an asset to pediatrics in Ontario. Mari started her career as an electrical engineer before completing her Masters of Health Administration at the University of Ottawa. Following her residency, Mari joined BORN Ontario where she served as Director for five years and then moved on to her VP position in 2014.
Recent career highlights include partnering with SickKids to put CHEO in the top 1% of digital hospitals in Canada and supporting healthy pregnancies and birth across Ontario with NSO, BORN Ontario and the OMama app. With a career covering quality improvement, big data, security and end-user experience and their impact, Mari is thrilled to be using these skills to help clinicians care for kids.
