SVP and Chief Clinical Officer - Children's Hospital Los Angeles

Nancy Lee is the Senior Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and a member of the CHLA Foundation Board of Trustees and the Foundation Board’s Advocacy Committee. She is also a member of the Disney Hospitals and Wishes Advisory Group. Nancy came to Children’s from Stanford Health Care where she served as the Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Patient Care Services. She began her nursing career as a Clinical Registered Nurse at Miller Children’s Hospital (at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center) in 1979. She later served in various leadership roles from Patient Care Manager to the Interim Vice President of Surgical Services. Nancy’s first appointment as Chief Nursing Officer was at the Daniel Freeman Hospitals, Inc. in Inglewood, CA in 1999. She later on served as the Chief Operating Officer, just before joining Stanford Health Care in 2002. During her 14 years at Stanford, Nancy has continued to pursue her passion and excellence in Nursing and has held several Executive leadership roles, most recently as the CNO and Vice President of Patient Care Services since 2009. Nancy recently stepped down as the Chair of the Board of Directors for Donor Network West. She lives La Crescenta with her wife, Robin, and their son, Aiden. As the Chief Clinical Officer at CHLA, Nancy has the honor of leading clinical services here to “create hope and build healthier futures” with us.
