VP, Sales - NeuroFlow

NeuroFlow, the leading provider of digitally integrated behavioral health solutions, has hired Neal Smart as the Vice President of Sales. This completes the company’s organizational C-Suite at a time when financials indicate a significant ‘7X’ year-over-year growth multiple. Smart, a management executive arriving from Zocdoc, a leading patient appointment booking platform, was promoted several times during his six-year tenure and recognized on the company’s annual ‘President’s Club’ list for sales excellence. Prior to this experience, Smart served as an executive client director for GE Healthcare, ushering in new technology innovations in remote patient monitoring, medical diagnostics, and other IT advancements. He joins Vice President of Marketing James Coates and Vice President of Engineering Jeff Burk as new additions to the seasoned executive team. “Neal understands the unmet demand for technology in today’s healthcare landscape and sees an opportunity for health systems to bridge the gap between physical and behavioral health offerings,” said NeuroFlow Head of Growth and Chief Operating Officer Adam Pardes. “We’ve now assembled the pieces -- through recruitment and developing talent internally -- to get our product and services to the next level.” NeuroFlow, which now counts 50 employees and thousands of health providers as customers, has used 2020 to enhance its platform’s capabilities for delivering tailored, real-time mental health care. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has experienced a period of high usage and sales demand, creating larger contract opportunities in the healthcare industry. “It’s an exciting time to join a leader in the field of behavioral health,” said Smart. “We know that despite the tremendous demand for technology in healthcare settings, there’s still an education curve that we need to flatten in the industry. With the experience and expertise of my colleagues, I am not only honored to join them but am extremely confident that NeuroFlow will continue to be an innovator with ambitious goals for improving the mental health of large populations.” In recent months, NeuroFlow has rolled out its platform with independent medical groups, leading health plans, federal government organizations, and major health system networks. The company’s growth was measured by analyzing the annual recurring revenue of contracts.
