Robert Plush has spent his career commercializing disruptive technologies for medical device companies. Robert has extensive experience working with both large and small companies. Robert is an Entrepreneur in Residence and advisory board member for the Consortium for Technology & Innovation in Pediatrics (CTIP), at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Robert has a passion for working with start-ups and is on the advisory board of several start-up medical device companies with a focus on sales, marketing and strategy and is an advisor and mentor for several life science accelerators. Previously, Robert spent the past 10 years launching several robotic technologies in the orthopedic space. The first with MAKO Surgical which was later acquired by Stryker and the second with Blue Belt Technologies which was sold to Smith and Nephew. Robert received a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Biotechnology Enterprise and Entrepreneurship from Johns Hopkins University. Robert keeps himself busy with his wife and three young very active boys.
